DIRTY JACK, like you, loves cooking immensely! Cooking is creating, and making people happy. And cooking is hot! The number of foodies and cooking enthusiasts has exploded over the past few decades. On TV and social media, the range of cooking shows is huge. All wonderful sources of inspiration to conjure up beautiful dishes at home.
The tea towel is history
To cook great food, you want to work with the best equipment; beautiful knives, cool pans and a brutal barbecue. And lots of home cooks, as well as TV chefs like Jamie Oliver, James Martin and Ainsley Harriott, use a cloth while cooking. To quickly dry off wet hands (instead of on your jeans ;)) or to grab a hot roasting pan from the oven. Remarkably, we all use the standard tea towel for that. That is now history!
Now there is the cooking cloth
After all, the tea towel is not meant for cooking. It is meant for drying dishes, is barely heat-resistant and should not get too dirty. Oh yeah, and the tea towel always has one of those dastardly loops that breaks. That has to change. So now there is the cooking cloth.
Features
De kookdoek die DIRTY JACK heeft ontwikkeld, heeft een aantal eigenschappen die ervoor zorgen dat ’ie veel geschikter is als kookdoek dan een reguliere theedoek. Belangrijkste feature is dat hij van dubbel geweven katoen is gemaakt. Je voelt meteen dat ie sterker en steviger is dan een theedoek. Daardoor is hij veel beter warmtewerend. Verder is de kookdoek gemaakt om smerig te worden; je kunt hem gerust heet wassen. En het lullige lusje hebben we vervangen door een onverwoestbaar oog. Last but not least hebben we natuurlijk heel veel aandacht besteed aan de looks.
Sustainable
Because the cloth is made of very high-quality cotton, it does not wear out as quickly as a regular tea towel and lasts super long. DIRTY JACK ‘s cooking cloths are made in Belgium, thus meeting all the strict European standards for manufacturing.
